Umbrella stand

As part of this assignment I began by making a connector between wood and carbon steel (between the inside and the outside), that same principal applied to the next thing I made, a connection between an umbrella and a stand for it.

Alcohol Stove

For this project I used brass to fabricate a small alcohol fueled stove that could be using when cooking outdoors on hikes. Skills I had to learn during this project included metal spinning and silver soldering.

Object Scaling

This class assignment was designed to test the students abilities to make a perfect 3D replica of an everyday object scaled to 5X the original size. I chose to scale a designer watch.

Cardboard stool

The purpose of this assignment was to construct a stool made completely from cardboard, and only cardboard. We could not use glue, pins, tape or any material other than cardboard. Structurally, it needed to support the weight of whoever might sit on it.
